The fact is that the Democrat party has an impressive record of amassing a loyal constituency and the Republicans have allowed them to do it. Loyal democrat voters consist of people who receive their livelihood from federal, state and local governments, which includes welfare recipients and those on unemployment; unions, both industry [what’s left of it] and teachers who are essentially government employees.

        In addition to the underprivileged poor, the unemployed whites and blacks, and illegal aliens, there are the elite social democrats who favor women’s rights over the rights of the unborn [assuming that these democrats will even concede that the unborn are a Constitutionally protected class]. The elite social democrats support gay marriage as opposed to the traditional definition of marriage. The elite atheist democrats want a complete separation of church and state. Environmental extremist democrats are those who believe that CO2 causes global warming, [more recently the politically correct terminology is “climate change” since the globe is now cooling].

        Then due to the work of the tax-the-rich democrats and environmental democrats, America is no longer a producer nation because those democrats want to stop all smoke emanating from what is left of steel mills, cement mining and concrete producers, iron pipe producers, and oil refineries. The same group is concerned about surface water and the underground aquifer so they insist upon regulating chemical production to the point of extinction. And animal-rights’ democrats recently obtained a court order from a friendly appointed judge to cut off the water supply in California’s San Joaquin Valley. The water irrigation canal was built specifically to create of one of the world’s most fertile production areas for food. As a result of the concerns of these environmentalists for a bait fish about three inches long, and with the aid of a friendly judge, the San Joaquin Valley is once again a dust bowl. People in the world are starving because democrats needed to save a three inch bait fish. In a time of nearly 10% unemployment, the San Joaquin Valley that was once the worlds’ food garden, neither employs workers nor feeds the world’s starving population.

        I can not imagine that any intelligent person is numb to the fact that because of these democrat policies the United States is no longer the richest nation in the world, is no longer the world’s leading producer of raw materials, finished products, and agricultural products; is no longer a creditor nation, but is a nation deeply indebted to China and Japan. The total unfunded debt that now exists due to big government and social welfare programs is 80 billion dollars.

“Next year's decennial census is rife with opportunities for a major power grab by the president's party, says Linda Chavez, president of the Center for Equal Opportunity.

The White House has made very clear that their intention is to put extra effort into counting illegal immigrants in the next Census. It wants to make sure that all 12 million illegal immigrants are counted, a task that's not easy given the desire of most people who are illegally in the United States to avoid detection:

Estimates are that if illegal immigrants are counted in the 2010 census, California will keep two seats it would otherwise lose (since that state has been losing citizen residents at a rapid rate) and Arizona and Texas will each pick up seats.

The big loser will be the Midwest, however, with a loss of six seats among five states, according to a study by the Connecticut State Data Center.

The real issue is what this will mean to individual voters in districts that are made up mostly of citizens.  Their votes will, in effect, be diluted by the votes of citizens who live in districts where large numbers of illegal immigrants live, says Chavez.

This change has the potential to dramatically alter the meaning of representative democracy.  If the Obama Administration succeeds in counting 12 million illegal immigrants in next year's census, its will effectively disenfranchise an equal number of U.S. citizens, says Chavez.”
