Why are some Republicans afraid of their own shadows? Because of what happened to Rick Santorum and Norm Coleman, and the latest victim, Rep. Joe Wilson [R-SC], who serves as a graphic example of the money behind the Democrat’s socialist policies.

Wilson's, opponent's campaign treasury growing was the September 11, 2009 headline. But this time Conservatives have had enough and they are stepping up to the plate and putting their money where their mouths are. Today I tried to go to Congressman Wilson’s website to make my donation only to find a message that it was temporarily shut down because of too much traffic.

I only hope that President Obama is taking notes of what is happening. It is a bit unfortunate that an unseemly outburst of frustration and emotion came from the hallowed halls of Congress, but if the President were more forthcoming with all the truth and allowing Republicans to have a say in the future of America, perhaps Congressman Wilson would not have had to depart from the usual paths of recognition.

Wilson’s opponent Rob Miller doesn’t need contributions when he has the national media doing his bidding for him; nevertheless, the party faithful has already started stuffing Millers coattails to the tune of $875,00, and to be sure, it will not end there. Those donations will be used to support the national media. After all it must be rewarded for the free advertisement they will give Miller 24/7, which is why the Democrats will be purchasing expensive commercial time on their failing networks.

This time if the Republicans allow Wilson to serve as the sacrificial lamb to the secularist socialist Democrats, then the Party deserves to live in infamy as a sad reminder that character in Washington D.C. is a vary rare commodity.
