President Obama’s appointee Attorney General Eric Holder ordered an investigation of CIA and civilian interrogators and contractors to determine if detainees at Guantanamo prison were abused. Robert Alt of the Heritage Foundation believes that the investigation can lead to a chilling effect among CIA agents.

        This investigation is like so many others by the Democrats. It is designed to discredit Republicans for political gain. The ACLU backs this investigation and is calling for criminal prosecutions.

        The C.I.A. was cleared by the inspector general’s office of any wrongdoing, but Attorney General Holder claims that he saw allegations of death and physical or mental torment that justified reopening the investigation. It remains to be seen if these allegations were made by other prisoners or by a credible source.

        In any event, it is a sad day for America that Democrats in Congress care more for the value of Muslim life then they do for the lives of Americans who are still exposed to Muslim terrorists and an enemy in Iraq and Afghanistan. This investigation is totally unnecessary and politically motivated. The Taliban and other radical Muslim groups have already used the politically motivated conduct of the Obama administration to engender support for terrorist attacks on Americans and America. The Obama administration of socialist Democrats gives credence to the terrorists’ claims that America is an evil Nation.

        When are Americans going to say enough is enough and stand up for the men and woman in the military who have given us our freedoms?  It is time we fight to protect them and we should not allow the socialists in Washington and the ACLU to put America and our brave young men and women in further danger!
