To my friends who believe the fringe media view that Sarah has been “marginalized” I say, you all need to do more reading, or just let me do it for you, since that’s what I’ve been doing in my retirement. According to an article I read in the AP, Palin’s book “Going Rogue” is numero uno on the NY Times list and it hasn’t even been released. I got my copy from Amazon but you can get yours at Wal-Mart for only $13.50.

Joe Biden, who is anything but marginalized according to the fringe media, has a memoir that will trail far behind Sarah Palin’s book in sales.  Publishers are saying that Palin’s support is still strong despite her exiting the Governor’s office, and the latest is that hubby has quit his job with the oil company.  I’ll be looking for them to be touring the country together on the campaign trail.

“"Movement conservatives are voting with their dollars to endorse the values they believe Sarah Palin represents," says Twelve publisher Jonathan Karp. I love having all this time to read and analyze the political landscape, something I haven’t done for 40 years since college.

I laugh when liberal pundits say that the conservative base consists of good-ol-boys from the south, truck drivers from all over the country, Evangelicals who believe the earth is 5000 years old, and Catholics who believe that life begins at conception. The fact is that conservatives at least know how to read, especially books written in support of conservative social and fiscal values.

The popularity of conservative authors like Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, and Ann Coulter according to Adrian Zackheim, president and publisher of Sentinel, a conservative imprint of Penguin Group (USA) is “the political equivalent of attending a Grateful Dead concert. Pure and simple, it's market democracy."

So don’t count Governor Palin out yet. Wait to see what she has to say and does in the next three and a half years.  Conservative moms are beginning to organize. When the fringe media starts trying to marginalize them, you’ll know that liberals are in big trouble.
