Georgiaright.com Where Conservatives Meet

July 7, 2009 Palin – Media Bias

She is going to crisscross the lower 48 campaigning for conservative candidates, learning, giving speeches, and will build a network of fundraisers and supporters beyond the conservative base that favors her by 65%.

Every voter knows that politics is a dirty game, but each see it from the receiving side. The slingers relish in what they are doing. Meanwhile the economy is in the greatest depression since 1930’s and all some media types want to do is make dirty jokes about a very bright and capable woman.

When interviewed by Time.com Sara Palin reportedly said “We have sat down with reporters, showed them proof of the frivolity, the wastefulness — you know, millions of dollars this is costing our state to fight frivolous charges. And countless, countless hours from my staff, our department of law, from me every single day just trying to set the record straight. And it doesn't cost the adversaries a dime in this game. It costs our state so much in time and in resources.”

Governor Palin termed the game being played by liberals who have filed numerous ethics complaints against her a game of political personal destruction. All of the ethics complaints have been dismissed, all of which were petty, minor, and malicious.

Sara Palin is a powerful political adversary and seems to be worrying her political opponents who have focused their attention on her like a sniper on his mark. It is going to be enjoyable watching Sara put a full court press on her detractors.

Freedom of speech should not protect politicians or members of the press who continually falsely accuse a public servant, to quote Sara “when they have proven over and over again that they have not done what the accuser is saying they did.” Time.com

Sara was a victim of a media that uses a double standard when reporting on political figures. If you haven’t been watching FOX news then perhaps you are not aware of the serious ethics charges against Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa. When Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich a former FBI agent investigating corruption accused Murtha of a serious ethics violation,

ABC came to Murtha’s defense, stating that he became the target of conservatives because of his opposition to the Iraq war. It’s always those pesky conservatives getting in the way of progress.

Not only is the media protecting Rep Charles B. Rangel D-NY but the Democrat controlled Congress is as well. In 2005 Rep. Rangel, who is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, was accused of ethics violations. As of June 2009 the investigative subcommittee is still looking into the alleged violations against Rangel for an expense paid vacation to the Caribbean paid for by a lobbyist organization for a media newspaper. Other ethics violations are pending against Rangel for an alleged quid pro quo between him and an oil company executive, and for another for failing to pay 20 years of taxes on a Caribbean rental villa, other ethics charges are pending, none of which have been adjudicated and probably never will.
